As Design Director, I drove the magazine's aesthetic vision from the initial concepts right down to the press runs. I worked hand-in-hand with the publisher to seamlessly pace the editorial against the ads for a beautifully balanced book—and that elevated art direction ultimately led to an ASME National Magazine Award nomination for Photography of the Year.

As Art Director for Paper magazine, I designed covers and shaped the visual direction for their most avant-garde features. This work gained global recognition in Graphis and Novum, and played a big part in my selection for Print magazine’s Top 20 Designers Under 30.

For this conceptual redesign of Coastal Living, I wanted to explore what a more modern, elevated version of the magazine could look like. By totally refreshing the typography and rethinking the photographic direction, the goal was to make their travel and lifestyle stories feel more immersive and elegant.

Leading the visual identity and editorial design for Element magazine was an amazing opportunity to celebrate Asian style and beauty. I focused on pairing elegant typography with really striking fashion and portrait photography. The goal was to build a sophisticated, culturally resonant look that completely elevated the magazine's presence.
